Run Streak 980

Day 980 in run streak, 2,9 kilometres.

Running on a tiny trail approximately 1K into my run, I felt a sharp pain in the sole of my right foot. I thought maybe a rock had lodged itself in the groves of the shoe’s sole. I stopped, and to my surprise I find not a rock but a 10 centimetres old, rusty piece of barbed wire in the sole! 0.o Of course one of the barbs had found a way through the shoe and into my foot.

When I came home, I found that thankfully the barb didn’t puncture the sole of my feet.
